The deployment of the program of work is delivered in Pennsylvania through five Regional STEM Networks, each of which received a regional program grant from the Pennsylvania STEM Initiative. Each network operates through an administrative entity which receives and manages grant funds on behalf of the region, and reports back to the Initiative as required.

All 67 counties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are served by one of the five regional networks. In addition, due to the size of the geographic area it serves, the Central Pennsylvania STEM Center is further organizing its service area into additional sub-regions to support and facilitate efficient programming. Like the statewide Initiative, the regional networks are as of this time operating in an ad hoc capacity with legal and fiscal operations managed by the designated administrative entity in each region.
