The Northeast Pennsylvania STEM Network was formally established in April of 2008. The twelve-county region convenes educators, workforce/economic development organizations, businesses and government with a common interest in addressing the need for an increased focus on education and training opportunities in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and math. The Northeast STEM Network will act as the main liaison for STEM activities in northeast Pennsylvania as defined by the Pennsylvania STEM Initiative.
