As STEM education becomes a higher and higher priority at both the state and federal level, it is increasingly important for educators to find new and innovative ways to involve their students in STEM programs.  From elementary schools to graduate programs, there are always new industries, new technologies and new innovations that students must be prepared for. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Department of Education are making resources available to schools and educators throughout the state.

Programs like Project 720, Science...It's Elementary, Classrooms for the Future and others are helping teachers provide students with rigorous curricula, hands-on experiential learning and cutting edge technology in their day-to-day classroom experience.  These programs are explained in more depth in the curricular resources section.

This section also provides information on career development for students and professional development for teachers as well as the Career Education and Work standards that are in place in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
